Precautions for handling shearing machines

Shearing machines are hardware processing equipment. The following points should be noted during transportation:

1. Personnel involved in transporting the shearing machine must be familiar with the transportation methods. A reasonable and feasible plan should be developed before transportation, and operations should be strictly carried out according to the plan.

2. During the transportation of the shearing machine, personnel must have specific divisions of labor, clear responsibilities, remain at their posts, and obey unified command.

3. During the transportation of the shearing machine, the site should be cleaned up, obstacles removed, and the road surface repaired to facilitate operation. Regardless of whether tank wheel or roller transport methods are used, the contact area between the timber/trailer and the ground must be considered based on the soil's pressure resistance to ensure that the pressure is evenly transmitted to the ground under the weight of the shearing machine, avoiding ground subsidence and accidents. Therefore, before transporting the shearing machine, the unit pressure of the selected transportation road surface should be calculated to ensure it is less than the allowable pressure.

4. When operating a hoisting machine, to ensure the safety of the lifting points and prevent the object from tipping over, swinging, or tilting, the lifting points and the center of gravity of the object being lifted should be on the same vertical line. The structure of the object being lifted should be able to withstand the full load.

5. The selection of lifting points must ensure that the object being lifted does not deform or get damaged (including its surface), and that it does not rotate, move, tilt, or tip over after lifting.

6. The selection of lifting points should be based on the structure, shape, weight, center of gravity, and other characteristics of the object being lifted, as well as the lifting requirements and on-site operating conditions, to determine a reasonable, feasible, safe, economical, and labor-saving lifting method.

7. The selection of lifting points must be determined based on the position of the center of gravity of the object in its final state of motion.

8. The number of lifting points must be determined based on the strength, rigidity, and stability of the object being lifted, as well as the allowable tensile strength of the slings.
